Plant equipment monitoring
In planningSee wear coming before it stops a placement.
We’re planning hardware for the batch plant that watches the equipment Zylocon controls and warns you when something starts to drift, so maintenance happens on your schedule instead of in the middle of a placement.
The idea
Most plant breakdowns announce themselves early: a gate that’s a little slower each week, a scale that takes longer to settle, a motor that runs hot. The signs are there; nobody has time to watch for them.
Watch
Monitor the equipment that stops a plant when it fails: gates, valves, scales, motors and air supply.
Notice
Compare how each piece of equipment behaves today against how it normally behaves, and spot the change.
Warn
Tell the people who maintain the plant what is drifting and where, before it becomes a breakdown.
Why it belongs with the controls
The batch system already knows when each gate was told to open and how each scale responded. Monitoring built by the same people who build the controls can read those signals without guesswork.
It’s early. This is where the work starts, not a product you can order yet. We’ll publish real details here as the design firms up.
